Ingredients
1cupFresh strawberriesHulled and chopped
2tbspSugar (or honey)Sweetener
1cupCold milkWhole milk or preferred milk
½cupIce cubesOptional, for serving
Instructions
In a bowl, mash strawberries with sugar until juicy. (For smoother texture, simmer strawberries and sugar for 5 minutes to make syrup.)
Spoon mashed strawberries or syrup into the bottom of each glass.
Add ice cubes if desired.
Pour cold milk over the strawberries.
Stir gently before drinking and enjoy the pink swirl effect.
Notes
